For over two decades, our partnership with Clarios has been synonymous with Seamless Logistics Management. As the trusted handler of Clarios’ battery reverse logistics business in the U.S., BWT manages various touchpoints within their supply chain. Our involvement spans multiple strategically located facilities, where we manage the intricacies of the reverse logistics process for thousands of hazmat-classified batteries.

Our warehousing and transportation teams handle the aggregation and storage of used batteries, delivery to multiple repair and Hazmat disposal partners, and movement of new incoming batteries and materials. With more than 100 dedicated FTEs and over 1 Million square feet of space, our team orchestrates a world-class import and export-compliant logistics operation.

Our successful collaboration with Georgia Pacific (GP) spans over 15 years, showing our commitment to helping companies procure, receive, store, and distribute raw materials to support manufacturing on a Just-In-Time basis. Catering to GP’s paper and forestry-related products, our footprint extends across various strategically located facilities throughout the East Coast.

Our services encompass the warehousing and distribution of GP’s raw materials and finished goods (which include paper rolls, lumber, and building materials), as well as spotting and yard management at various customer locations. With a team of over 100 dedicated FTEs and operational space exceeding 200k square feet, BWT has been able to streamline GP’s inbound and outbound logistics.

A CASE STUDY IN HIGH-VOLUME CROSSDOCKING, FREIGHT FLOW, AND REGIONAL LOGISTICS SUPPORT

BWT Logistics partnered to support a high-volume crossdocking project across Memphis, Atlanta, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Over a short project window, BWT helped process more than 2,000 containers through strategically located crossdock operations, receiving, sorting, staging, and transferring freight quickly to support time-sensitive distribution requirements.
The project demanded rapid execution, disciplined dock coordination, and the ability to scale labor and operational support across multiple markets at once. BWT’s team supported with flexible staffing, dock management, trailer flow, container handling, and outbound staging to help minimize dwell time and maintain freight velocity throughout the network.
By leveraging BWT’s regional operating footprint and experience in warehouse, distribution, and transportation support, and able to move a large volume of containers in a compressed timeframe while maintaining consistency across Memphis, Atlanta, and Charlotte. This project reflects BWT’s ability to execute complex, multi-location logistics programs with the speed, control, and reliability required for high-volume supply chain operations.
